PILODIST introduces new generation of semi-automatic TBP (ASTM D-2892) crude oil distillation systems

PETRODIST 100 S series are well established and successfully operating in many customers sites worldwide. An increasing number of clients want to use different flask sizes in the same system, which is possible. For this reason an additional electrical flask heating and corresponding flask (1, 2, 4 6, 10, 20, 50 L) can be used. In strict accordance with ASTM D-2892 a different column with different internal diameter may be used as well to fit in the same column heating mantle for adiabatic operation.

Now the new fraction collector is designed in a way to use different receiver volumes as well in correlation to the flask volume.

By replacing the existing internal carousel as well as optional fire extinguisher with acoustic and visual alarm as well as other safety features are available to optimize the system for individual needs the receivers the change can be made very quickly and easily.

The receiver overfill protection sensor can be used for all different receiver volumes. This sensor ensures that when a pre-selected receiver volume is reached during distillation the system automatically turns to the next receiver to continue the same cut.
 
PETRODIST 100 S is a very flexible system which is designed to not only operate in accordance with ASTM but also to be used for research works in deviation of ASTM. Different column types may be used which will fit into the column heating mantle.
